About This Initiative

The KNCF-supported programme focuses on sustainable forest management through the propagation of Gnetum Africanum, a native species with significant ecological and economic value to local communities.

Program Goals:
✓ Community awareness and sensitization
✓ Training 50 men and women in propagation techniques
✓ Establishing nurseries for plant cultivation
✓ Active reforestation of degraded forest areas
✓ Building sustainable livelihoods for communities

Through this initiative, we address forest degradation caused by unsustainable logging practices while creating economic opportunities for local stakeholders.
